Meet Sid Sottung
Sid Sottung, once a 14-year-old apprentice in a traditional Italian barbershop in New York, has evolved into a trailblazer in the hair industry. At 18, he joined Vidal Sassoon, quickly rising to Assistant Creative Director after successful stints in New York and Washington D.C.
Sid's decorated career continued as an educator in Sassoon academies, taking him from Santa Monica to international stages, including China. Following his Sassoon days, Sid ventured into freelancing, contributing to the 2005 blockbuster Pride & Prejudice and sharing his expertise in exclusive salons worldwide.
In 2014, with the Sid Sottung Academy, Sid is providing a unique opportunity to learn directly from an internationally recognized educator. The academy is now exclusively online and provides training for all levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced, shaving, and coloring.
